Bullying is deliberate, pre-meditated, ongoing, mean or unkind behaviour towards others.  It is different from one-off conflicts or incidents. Bullying can be physical, verbal, extortion/blackmail, gesturing, or exclusion.

We expect children to tell a teacher or parent/caregiver, if they have any conflicts or issues with other children.

Bullies only have power if they can frighten their victims into keeping quiet. Victims of bullying must tell a teacher, parent or friend, if they are being bullied.

Victims will come under huge pressure to keep quiet but if they do this, things will only get worse.
We will act immediately to any instances of bullying and ensure that the bullying stops.
Bullies generally have problems that need to be dealt with by skilled counsellors.
